My name is Wesley but you can call me Wes if you wish. I live in Melbourne, Australia. I'm a 'survivor' of three years of sexual abuse. And I'm probably younger than most of you.

Wes welcome to MS. I am really sorry for what brought you here but am glad you found us.

You have joined the greatest bunch of guys I know.

You say you are young. In a way that is a blessing because it seems that the sooner you start to deal with the issues the more time you have living life and not merely passing through it. I was assaulted for 9 months when I was 16 and that put me on the street as a male prostitute for 3 years till I was 21. I waited until I was 56 to try to heal. What a damned waste.

so read, listen, post and offer a shoulder when needed. There are many shoulders when you need one.

It is certainly nice to welcome a brother from DOWN UNDER.

Hey Wes - Welcome to the site!! Sorry you need a site like this BUT since you do, I'm certainly glad you found us. As Mike and the guys commented, the younger you acknowledge your abuse and get working on the issues, the better a life you'll have. Let me encourage you to talk and post as often as yuou need here, we all have been through abuse recovery and these are really GREAT guys!! You are not alone...we're here for you!

It's a great place you've found here, with a lot of wonderful people. I'm glad that you found it while you're young. I wish I would have had the sense to go looking for help when I was younger.

I would not have chosen to be abused, but now I would not choose to be without the friendships I have formed here. I hope that you will get as much help from being able to speak out here.

It's great to meet you I hope that this site will help you in ways that you never though possiable. This site can help you in so many ways. Alot of the guys here are the most loving and support people I have ever meet in my life.

Dont worry about being young, I was where you where when i first came! But there are some other people here that are the sameage, and some younger too!
