I have noticed over ten folks here who have noted a recent increase in male survivor issues, symptoms and the onset or worsening of a health issue.

Yes, it is very common that the onset of a medical problem that is limiting, disabling or life threatening will bring up CSA issues.

I know my personal experience and all the years I worked as a rehabilitation counselor and nurse. My CSA came to a head after a severe heart attack and surgery.

Why? It can be as simple as having to much free time and as complicated as medications effect. One looks at there life and guess what you emotionally drain yourself facing the new challenges and CSA pops its ugly head up.

You have always been vulnerable now you are weakened physically and vulnerable to whatever symptoms you have. I did not like being physically able to defend myself. Simply if a pervert was to approach me, no way now I can defend myself.
Equally my health messed with my sleep and such.

Just some observations

I have rhumatic arthritis, I have had it since I am quite small. I am not sure if you are asking, is there relation between abuse and health? That, if we been abused, maybe it have the impact to our health, or if sicker more ill persons are more vulnerble to abuse? Or if mental affects of abuse can cause additional physical issue? I have not seen different in my own health, in that I start talking of the abuse things some for few months. But it is interest, to me, to see if there seem to be relation of it.
