I have a question. I want, need to see a counselor. I looked at my local yellow pages, but how does one pick one? What do you say when you call to ask about them or to make an appointment? There are so many to choose from. I am nervous enough as it is just going to the doctor, let alone this. What do you say, Hi I was abused as a kid can you help? Do they have to know up front why it is you want to see them? Just how do you go about doing this?
