Happy Thanksgiving to all

I am violating doctor's orders and coming back two days early to wish everyone a very happy Thanksgiving!
I have so much to be thankful for, and it amazes me to look back to last November and see how far I have come - and in so many ways. There have been frightening and unhappy stages, since I have had to come to terms with some things that were never my fault, but then some, from later in my life, that were my own doing. But at the same time it's a wonderful voyage of discovery and awakening. I wouldn't go back for anything and I look forward to the challenges of the work yet to come.
What am I thankful for? Here are a few things:
1. MY LIFE, since there were times when Little Larry had decided it was time to check out, and other times when young man Larry just didn't care if he made it through the night. I can now see that my life is worth having, and worth living. It's the same for all of us - we all have so much to offer, and so much to be. Never forget that.
2. MY FAMILY. How we got through the bad times I will never know, but we did it. I owe so much to my parents and sisters, to my wife, and to my (now grown-up) kids Mark and Lisa. And (how could I forget) of course to Bruno.
3. MY FRIENDS, including all of you here. I feel like I have a family of hundreds, and all of you mean so much to me.
4. THE INCREDIBLE HEALING POWER OF LOVE. It's an amazing thing to discover you're lovable after all, and to discover that you also have love to offer to others.
To those of you who will be having a happy Turkey Day with family and friends, all the very best and I hope the holiday rejuvenates and empowers you.
To those of you who are alone, frightened, confused or in despair - hang on. It doesn't stay like this. Just remember that here you are part of a community where you are genuinely appreciated, respected and understood - just as you. Do keep with us, and stay the course. It IS worth it.
Much love,
Larry
