hi guys,

i do have good moments really

I guess though last night was awful - it started good but then just a reminder of how alone I am -

I thought I had a connection with someone -

I suppose I could be forgiving of his angst -

but we seemed to get on really well - but

at the end - his way of communicating shifted and
it became pretty frightening in retrospect.

assumptions and paranoia - 20 questions and yet still with a promise to talk again there was utter nobelief on his part -

it ruined it - I so wanted a friend and now I am just uncomfortable.

he was inconsollable and strayed into the bizarre of almost a trance of saying things and not answering questions about what he said.

he did have a small smell of alcohol but just very odd.

ah well -back to the world of photographs and work search -

lol - and hugging my stuffed moose !

jokes aside - i just want a normal life -

day to day work and stuff -

ok - have a good one -

we'll get there -

how strange! the "small smell" of alcohol sounds like the real explanation to me for his behavior.
Hug that moose!
"Normality" will come, eventually, and maybe when you least expect it -- at least that's sorta what happened to me.
Love, etc.,

Mark,

I know that when something looks promising and then doesn't work out, well, what can one say? It's disappointing and sometimes it hurts as well. But it seems to me that it's better to get the bad news early, rather than invest time and emotional energy in someone and then have it all fall apart on down the line.

Don't get down on yourself or feel you have to recreate yourself in some mold that isn't really you - that's the most important thing. It's a strange world, and we often end up spending our lives with people we would never previously have imaged as our partners.

Meanwhile, I have been cackling for the past few minutes over George's advice...hug that moose!!!! What a cool motto. Well done George!

Much love bro,
Larry
