Hi guys:

I haven't been around much lately, and I'm sorry. I miss our chats in the room, reading the boards, all of it you remember, i'm sure.

Please pray, send your thoughts, your strength your power to me and my fellow retreat participants this Columbus Day weekend. I am finally gonna get to go to a retreat.

Know that I am doing my best to take care of me, and what is left of my family. My divorce from the wife of 14 years will be final soon. I have my own apt now, and the boys come visit every other weekend, plus wednesday they come over night. My Mom, Dad, Sisters, and some really good friends that I made over the summer have been tremendous support for me. I could not have made it to this place without all of them. Had I not been in this place, NOMSV, while I was still with the wife, I probably would not have made it out alive. This place, and all the good friends I know here, saved me more than once while i was living there. For that, I thank and appreciate.

We have missed your participation and insight. Especially now because of where you are. We have some fragile newcomers and you can be a source of inspiration for them.

Don't think you realize what a support you have been to those around you either. I for one could have easily bought the farm so to speak and crawled in a shell but you brought that all back for me, I am worthwhile, I am a good person and I now have a good friend, a trusted buddy, one that won't hurt. Glad you back to provide the strength to others you have provided for me.

I haven't been around for a long time myself, as you know, so it was nice to see your name in this posting. I was sorry to learn about your divorce, however, and hope you are beginning the healing process with that.

I hope the retreat is everything you hope it will be for you, and more.

I was going to say how hapy I am to see you here again after a while--but then I noticed that this post is from a couple of months ago.

Well anyway, if you read it, you know that your friends here are trying to be supportive.
