Great kid

Great kid
I just read something Ash wrote in the MS forum that gave me more hope than anything thats happened in the last year. Ash wrote this:

I realised yesterday the people I envy are the ones who are still kids, not adults. They carry their childhood around with them. The ones who tell me to 'grow up' are children themselves, that's why they think in those terms. They carry that healthy child within them and act like a healthy child. I think proper 'growing up' is the ability to have that healthy childhood and keep growing, keep learning, keep being flexible......
While my b/f is certainly not carrying around a perfectly healthy child, there is a healthy child there who comes out at every opportunity. My b/f is a jokester and trickster; at every opportunity hes playing a trick on someone. Doesnt matter if its a friend or a co-worker, if he can pull something off, he does. And hes the first one to tell you that no matter how old he is, hes the most immature person in the room. We have a good friend who is a huge Giants fan; my b/f is a long suffering, but loyal Cowboys fan. Well on X-mas Eve the Giants lost. So what does he do, he packs up the truck with brown packing paper and blue painters tape before we went to our friends house for X-mas Eve dinner. After we ate, we snuck outside and wrapped our friends pride and joy bus which is painted in Giants colors with the packing paper and wrote with the blue painters tape Cowboys are #1" and Romo was here. This was a very serious project but the whole time, my b/f was laughing like a little kid, cause thats who was doing it - that great little kid who still wants to play.

Thanks Ash

ROCK ON...............Trish
