Nobby, in the begining of your post you offered him 50 cents

Hows the guy supposed to buy a coffee with that??

Come on!!
Good point...edited.

Hi Steve, say no to the chat, but try to stay on the board. That was what I had to do when I first got here. Maybe one day I will go back to chat, but not yet. I am sorry to say that I have not read any of your posts yet, I will try to correct that over the next few days. Right now the only thing I can say is try not to burn your bridges, leave for now, stay gone for as long as is needed, then come back. You will be welcome when ever you chose to come back.

Take care for now.

i dont understand why people are afraid of the chatroom ,its the same people who respond to your posts ,i dont get it .i spend a lot of time there and it is not some terrible scary place with people hiding and waiting to ambush each other. no one there would ever intentionaly try to scare or trigger anybody , but thats just me and i understand if its not for everybody ,its just that the chatroom gets to seem like a bad place with all the posts about bad things happeneing there,i dont see it ,for those who have progressed to the level that they can talk realtime it is a very healing place ,maybe not for everybody ,but its not a bad place at all .

My problem (being in Japan) is when I really need the chat room. There is never anyone there.

The only time Ive been upset is when someone said a condition I suffer from doesnt exist.

I just left.

No biggie, but different strokes and all that. Affects different people in different ways.

I've had trouble in chat, too. It's like since it's live all the walls come down. For some guys it works. But not for me.

If the boards help, I'd use them. I haven't been in chat for a long time, and for me that works.

if we can't deal with the chatroom how can we ever deal with all the stuff out in the real world? i think chat is a stepping stone to being more open in our lives you know out there in the real world ,where nobody holds back and everything is realtime .

Shadow,

That's an excellent point. The chat room will never be perfect, just as the world itself will never be perfect. I just wish the rest of my live were as calm as the chat room usually is!

Much love,
Larry

Hello, Steven,

I have liked to talk with you in chat. It helped me. I am sorry that you want to leave this place.
