God's Purpose?

Brothers, I posted this in the Spirituality Board, but I wanted to post this here to get your feedback as well.

This was written by a member of my church for our Easter Service this year. This has become my focus in life. Pastor Ron asks us to say a daily Prayer, "Lord, today, help me to get to know you better and love you more!"

I have the feeling that God is pushing me to use my pain and suffering, and that of my children who were so abused and abandoned before we adopted them, and Christ, to help others eventually.

I have more healing to do. I have also been accepted at Trinity Divinity College to work on my PHD in Religious studies (can believe that?!?)

Please say a Prayer for me that I am following the correct lead from God, and that I am successful in helping others when He feels the time is right.

tj,as i read about the lives of paul,peter,and others in the new testament,the personal history of their lives show thru.it reflected in their teaching about following Jesus.what a great thing to be able to use the tragedy of SA in your life to help others.i getthe feeling it will help you heal.godspeed.........face

COngrats on bein gaccepted to further your education!

I am thinking God wants me to use my past in a way to help others. I am feelinf pulled to let my story be known. I like helping people. I want to help get this sick sh*t to end. I know I can not stop it, but if I can help one person, then maybe they can hepl another peron, and so on. Maybe I could be the catalyst that saves a thousand souls! Lord willing.
