Friends
Had a quiet New Year this year by choice. With the court case coming up shortly, I didn't feel like being around loads of people and trying to look extremely happy.
I was a bit disappointed though because I didn't receive any texts from anyone on New Years Eve, whereby I normally receive several calls and texts.
Yesterday I was extremely agitated and got worse as the day went on when there was still no contact. I checked my mobile/cell phone & and it still had lots of capacity for receiving messages. I got so agitated, that I telephoned the Samaritans from my landline.
This morning a friend telephoned me on my landline and said..."Caught you at last - where have you been"? "I've sent you loads of texts & had no response - wondered what country you were in".
I had a problem with my mobile/cell phone - after cleaning around the sim card, messages started downloading!
To cut a long story short - everyone had been trying to get hold of me.. I felt ignored, yet they were all worrying about why I wasn't responding.
Reason for post - I was thinking the worst & there wasn't a real issue.
How much higher I feel now!
Moral: Friends are Friends.... what you know of them will be true. Do not doubt a true friend, especially not all of them at once!
