Hermaphrodites should be the only group allowed to marry -

Themselves - You cannot divorce yourself - and so fly in the face of any Christian or other religious tradition

of taking your vows lightly -

or offend anyone because a commitment to yourself

and

honestly

'until death do us part ' or '' cherish, honor and obey' - is really life affirming - and quite a healthy thing

also you cannot say the person is living in sin

because - hey if someone is fucking themselves,

who cares? eh?

I am realizing that as gay men and women - I think we have an intrinsic sense of how different everyone is -

and so we tend to not make our 'aesthetics' on the level of judgement of 'who' you love -

but perhaps for a lot of us put our aesthetic
on the style we have

and everyone fails and some point in this arena -

and so it's all a case of a lot of love warmth and laughter -

there are hurtful things and hideous politicians that come and go -

but in the face of time passing - we gays,
men and women - it seems have tended to preserve the culture - that seems to have kept civilizations held together -
this seems even to have clearly
been the case even
pehaps best seen in our history
through the middle ages -
at the time of monks, nuns and only
the knowledge preserving citadel monastaries :)

well the satire at the top - was my tribute somewhat to Thomas Paine's

The Irish poor should feed their babies to the Rich" :)

hi hangin on -

just wanted to say hey - guess your not around lately -

i don't know if you would like this -

i went to the Ballet School of Canada recently -

it's the new structure -

jeez it is awesome - so great -

they really protect the kids too -

all this extra training - now - too - in case they don't see a carreer for themselves in dance -

or just to have a fall back career - it almost made me tear up for the care these students are given -

they are making sure all these super talented kids are safe - and healthy -

good nutrition - access to all the best therapists - academics - and brand new campus like facilities -

just great! - awesomely beautiful -
seriously - I nearly started to cry -

peace -

Mark,
I am in Washington, DC as I type this for a three-day business trip. It's nice to come here, despite my natural tendency to dislike the city for the politics that come from this part of the world.

DC is actually a great city, full of many cultures, great buildings, nice parks...I like it more than when I lived here.

The reason for my silence of late (I try to check the site once a day, at least) is that I have begun a really strick regimen and exercise plan. My new goal for 2006 is to loose over 80 pounds that I have gained in the past 10 years. I gained this weight as a way to "protect" myself from unwanted physical attention - well, let me tell - IT WORKED!

Now that I am ready (mind, body, and spirit) to put myself out there, I am not the most attractive I've been, to be sure. So, I am counting calories, running, and I even took a picture of myself front-and-back to help me see the shape of things (to come).

I have already lost 7 pounds in a few days - and don't worry anyone, I am using all kinds of guidelines, taking suppliments, etc. to ensure that I do it "right" - not too much weight loss at once, of course.

Anyway, Mark - that's the reason for my silence! I am not too sure what else to say. Things seem to be turning around for me.

BTW, that job I was hoping for - I got some insider information and found out that there's a LOT of dysfunction and politics involved, so I am letting go of that one. Not a big deal - nice to be considered.

Anyway, I hope you are well!

nice! cool news -

John - I also had to let go of a job offer -

but it wasn't giving me the main thing I wanted -

so - a job is not a one way street eh?

Anyway -

Have fun in DC - I went to GU!

:)
