First Posting and a THANK YOU

This is my first posting, but I have been visiting the site for about three months now and have found you to be extremely helpful.

I won't go into the details here yet, but it's been basicly a disaster in the way I've been treated since I first told about being abused.

I suspect there are others like me who don't know how to speak about having been abused yet, or how to do so without writing something the size of War and Peace. But I'm learning from you: your courage and openness is affecting positively many others.

You guys are a great lifeline to understanding, information. healing, and surviving. You've made a great positive difference in my life. THANX!!!!!

Welcome to the site, my friend. I know what you mean about the "War and Peace" syndrome. Just take your time in getting used to the site. You will know when the time is right for you to say something, and when you do, just say what you feel you need to express. We have all been there! Everyone here will support and understand you.
