Here are three songs that are for this message board.

The first is Written and sung by Joni Mitchel in 1967 and best done by Tom Rush.

It is for the friends and partners of those who read and/or post here.

The third song is by a great American folk singer: John Stewart "Daydream Believer" titled
Wingless Angels. So is the second.

As Stewart wrote "find some healing in this song".....

TIN ANGEL

Varnished weeds in window jars
Tarnished beads on tapestries
Kept in satin boxes are
Reflections of love's memories

Letters from across the seas
Roses dipped in sealing wax
Valentines and maple leaves
Tucked into a paperback

She says she'll throw them all away
She found someone to love today

Dark with darker moods is he
And not a golden Prince who's come
Through columbines and wizardry
To talk of castles in the sun

Still, she'll take a chance and say
She found someone to love today

She sees the sorrow in his eyes
Like the angel made of tin
What might happen if she tries
To place another heart in him

In a Bleeker Street cafe
She found someone to love
She found someone to love
She found someone to love today

WHERE ARE YOU GOING LITTLE BOY?
John Stewart

Where are you going with the rain? Little boy, I wish that you'd explain.
I'm gonna take my friend, the rain, where he won't hear anyone complain.
He won't have to hear those straight faced liars or bad mouth talkers or mean back biters.
That's where I'm going with the rain.

Where are you going with the wind? There's no place I know that she ain't been.
I'm gonna take my friend, the wind, so she can blow where the stars begin.
She won't have to hear those straight faced liars or bad mouth talkers or mean back biters.
That's where I'm going with the wind.

Where are you going with my heart? Little boy, I guess I'm not so smart.
I'm gonna take my friend, your heart, to keep the world from breaking it apart.
You won't have to hear those straight faced liars or bad mouth talkers or mean back biters.
That's where I'm going with your heart.
That's where I'm going with the wind. That's where I'm going with the rain.

WINGLESS ANGELS John Stewart and Michael Cannon Wingless angels
Pull the boats of Amsterdam
Wingless angels
Grease the cars of Birmingham
Wingless angels
Work the fields of Ohio
Wingless angels
Walk the streets of Chicago

And it sure is a long way home
It sure is a long way home
It sure is a long way home
It sure is a long way home

Wingless angels
Stand amazed at eagles flight
Wingless angels
Cry themselves to sleep at night

And it sure is a long way home
It sure is a long way home
It sure is a long way home
It sure is a long way home
