I'm in the process now where I'm finally looking for a therapist that works with the specific issue of being a malesurvivor. I gave up quickly in the past because it seems so hard to find a competent one especially where I live at. Anyway that's where I'm at today, even if it's by phone or web therapist.

it might be good to do a face to face online type of chat with a T I find I can l can learn or get more out of watching the other persons facial expressions and body language then just by talking on the phone or reading what they type, u may check into skype or something like that, I'm not sure as I'm not very good on computers to say the least but its worth checking into BB

What BB says is true. There is so much more to communication in the things unsaid such as facial expression and body language. Even in what is said, words are stripped of their prosody - the inflection, pace and other elements of speech flesh out life in the words that are spoken. I conjure a comical image of the great therapy scenes in the movie Good Will Hunting (if you have ever seen it) - wondering how they could possibly be done via text or even Skype. The therapist would be text-bombing Will, "It's not your fault." And Will would be texting back emoticons. There is NO substitute for human contact when discussing human issues, IMO.
