Hi and I want to thank all of you for your feed back on the previous post. I was fine but I swear I am my own worst enemy I went on line looked up were I went to school and then after finding the school I lost it started crying like a little baby the flash backs from that town were like yesterday and this was 33 years ago. I can't help but feel so helpless and also see what and why I am the way that I am. I was always trying to please everyone but myself.I don't have a T as for I ran into some ins. problems. I wish and hope that the police can find this perp for I just want to put all of this behind me I want it to be over. I am going to be talking to my sister to see if she will testify as she was aware of what was going on. thanks Bill

It's tough I'm sure but it's also important work that you are doing right now. Thank you for being so strong.

Hope you have some kind of support system in place as you go through this besides the cyber support we can offer here.

If your report leads to any formal charges you should get some sort of liaison officer to help you with fears and questions you may have. And as Paul suggests, it would help you a lot if you have a circle of local support. Sometimes these things get pretty rough.

And please don't hesitate to come here and post if you have issues or questions you need to discuss or get feedback on. You will find a lot of support here!

Bill, that's a good idea what Larry said up there about getting a liaison officer or someone like that. When I first filed they assigned me to a victim advocate. This person would have acted like a buffer between me and the perps or me and the lawyers. Could be really helpful.

This is an excellent way to reclaim your power.
Be careful and ready to catch flack from the those who may legally or personally oppose your filing of this complaint. If a lawyer is involved rest assured that he or she will give you some flack trying to discredit you. Keeping calm is important. Make sure you have a support group. YOU ARE DOING THE RIGHT THING.
