Felt Stupid

Felt Stupid
As some of you know I'm moving to a different apartment in a building next door to mine. I didn't want to move the heavy and big pieces of furniture, so I asked a co-worker who's son-in-law to be does odd jobs to move some furniture. Anyway, he happens to be mexican and brought a friend (also mexican) along. Anyway, I felt stupid because they were talking and laughing in Spanish. I had no clue what they were saying, but I almost felt like they were talking about me and how stupid I was. Especially since I was giving them $75-100 for an hours work. Also because my apartment was a wreck because I was moving (ok my apartment is usually a wreck anyway LOL. I was paying them so much because A. I didn't know how long it would take B. I just wanted someone to do it. C. I know the guys Finacee (my co-workers daughter) and wanted them to have a little more cash.

I guess I'm overreacting but I just wanted them to leave after awhile.

jtt,

I dont't think this is stupid at all. When we moved into this house, we hired local laborers to do most of the moving. And I think it is common with people to avoid the pain of moving if they can. Thankfully we own our house now so that shouldn't be a problem again but you never know.

I think you are fine
