feelling groovy

things are good today -

challenging but good.

it's real overcast - like some San Francisco mornings - as I recall -

I walked to get coffee -

down to Timothy's on Church.

I dunno I just wanted to share this idea -

I talked to a neigbour who

is REALLY charming and REALLY nice -

He has been partnered a while now -

and we talked about things - and he said -

'relationships'

he said - it's interesting how once you're together

you realize every decision you make
affects the two of you

it's no longer just me - but 'us' -

it's neat -

because -

He is an established wedding planner -

his husband - is a flight attendant -

and I've never seen two people so happy together as companions -

and so ardent - when they are feeling closer

Glad you're feeling good and thinking positive. That will help you a lot as you try to sort out your affairs and plans in Toronto.

And yes, at the beginning of a good relationship it's interesting to see how everything is changing and you begin to think in terms of "us" instead of just "me". I think it took my wife and I about 6 months to really get that one figured out. But we are still together after 25 years, and come to think of it, we are still figuring some things out!
