you are your grandfather's first crush [he says]
he grooms you
to believe he's god

but you don't think he's god
only lust, dwelling in his dark heart
while you stare at the sky and float up

he labors on you, tongue out
dogged happiness in his red face
as he sends you into Minotaur's Maze

or a robbed tomb
stuck under pharaoh's breath
his mess in your innards

you hope it gives him a heart attack while
nailing you in divine rage [his words]
you hate him all the way to hell [your words]

Another one poem of yours that leaves me speechless, Darren. What you describe is horrifying but I admire your ability to work with words and to make us touch to what you have felt.

Darren-very powerful. I’m so sorry you had to go through this. Take care of yourself…

@ODAT @Iv0_An
Thank you so much. Words are powerful :)

@Darren White Not often am I at a loss for words, but....wow...this is incredibly good writing. An intimate, violent act...a physical, silent dialogue.

@LRD
Thank you. Yes, difficult. Not triggering for me, and hopefully not for you either...

Your words are your strength. I am sorry you suffered at the hands o your grandfather. Your words hit me in the gut, feeling your pain reminds me of my pain. I hope your writings are helping you to heal, to see the shame and guilt is your grandfather's and not yours. Remember you have the power as your words so clearly show.
