Experienced, Suffered From, Or Survivor
It's not my editor, its a Canadian Father or male site. I just sent him my story in hopes he could help promote the book, help other survivors. He did not like the terms I used so we did not get very far.
Typing in Male Molestation on google hits my book so I think its okay.
I just want to get the message across to others that they are not alone, and to the significant others of the survivor. When my brother read it he really got a good understanding of what I went through, why I did the things I did. Same with my mother, the funny thing is they saw me as a strong independent, outspoken kind of guy. They now know that it was a mask, the ultra male image I put on was to overcome the hurting little boy's shame.
