Everything is beautiful
I was looking at a picture on a calendar today...
The picture was of some towering stone monoliths on a rocky beach. Sadly, i started making some comparisons to how i see myself.... hard, cold and worn, broken in places, older than time itself.
Regardless of the shaping by the hands of time, the monoliths remain stoic and passive, almost noble in their endurance and steadfastness, honourable in their embrace of reality and their willingness to face the both the elements and the onslaught of humanity at any time, for any reason, and at any cost. Also noticed something i probly wouldn't have a few months ago.... lichen and moss growing on the monoliths, in whatever craggy handholds they could find. Milleniums of abuse, the battering by human emotions, the unending sea of torment and punishment and shame all culminate in the creation of a masterpiece....
Only thing missing on top was a wolf howling its essence song to the four winds, into the face of time....
