Guys I just received this from Al's partner Marc and I was hoping that you could all say something to him to help cheer him up and get him back with us. When you consider what this little guy has been through he deserves something good for a change.

alan was admitted to the hospital on tuesday and is expected to be there for some time. he has gone through another dissociation spell which he came out of yesterday, but is in such a deep depression he is on suicide watch. i spent most of the day with him today and i think he is feeling somewhat better this evening. i will pass along your love and good wishes. write whenever you can - if you are able, maybe you could convince some of the other guys to write? i know he'd love to hear from you. i appreciate it.

Tell Al I've missed him and his way of making me smile even if Im in a mood not to. I wish him luck. And tell him I'll be thinking about him and I pray he comes back to us very soon. But for right now take care of himself. Let me know if there is anything I can do on my end.((((((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))))))

I don't know Al so well, but I know that he spent a long time talking with a friend I suggest come here. He never meet him before, and he was very kind and supportive, and talked with him a long time. That tells me much of what Al is like. I am very sorry he is unwell right now, and is so low in his emotions. I truly hope he is doing better soon, and I will be thinking very good positive thoughts for him, and for Marc as well.

Oh :( Poor Al!

I don't talk to Al that much but when I do I am happy, he is an awesome guy and always has something nice to say. I really hope he will be OK :(
 
Thank-you for the status report. I will be sending Marc an e-mail for him to pass on to Al.
 
I chatted for a bit this evening with Marc, Al is doing a bit better now and they've reduced his sedation meds a bit so he's not so much out of it.

Al needs all of our prayers and support. Marc needs us as well because he's carrying the burden of all of this by himself. We need to remember that Marc is a hero here as well.

I just got some information from Marc. Al is still in the hospital and taking therapy but he is doing much better. He is eating like a horse and that is good.
Marc has been a bit sick lately and I know the stress he is under. But he will be ok

Thoughts and praers to you Marc and Al. This is but another example of the devastation abuse does to the spirit. But, Al, we know that you will continue to work at getting better and the day will come when this will be a bad memory that no longer has any power to slow you down.

Like everyone says Marc, be especially good to yourself. Do things that makes you happy.

((((Hugs)))) to Al if okay. Please take care of yourself, and stay as strong as you can. I know how hard it can be, to be sick, it takes more energy from you. Just try your best, and allow others to help you during this time.

((((Hugs)))) also to Marc if okay. You were one of first people to welcome me here and feel like I was not a freak. I know we have not talked so much lately, but I am thinking of you as well, and wishing you well. I hope you are able to stay strong also, and take care of yourself as well.

I have not been here in a couple months but when I come here I always look for Al. Please tell him that I think of him often and I wish him well and all of that gushy stuff. Also say hello to Marc for me. And while you're at it, pet Whiskey, and, oh hell just pass it along please.Thanks Mike.
