It was not 'waste of time'. It strike me as something good, and gentle, to think of. The 'safe place'.
I will tell you something. There is a song, I belive by Madonna, called 'This use to be my playground'. It is a song of like, yearning for what use to be? I heard it on the radio about two weeks ago. And sitting there, in my car, I cried. We all deserve that safe place, that playground. I am glad you have one.
I also know how hard it can be to talk about our feelings. I have shut mine away for twenty years and am now just starting to feel again. I also can't talk about them. Do not worry. When yoou feel comfortable say what you need to say. until then just keep saying what ever comes up.
Nyjah - I always find your posts interesting!! When in doubt - put up a trigger warning. It isn't a matter of right or wrong but the way our community (you too!) respects one another! I'm glad you have your place! They are important for us survivors to have for our own personal protection. My place is a bright, sandy beach with gentle waves breaking on my feet..ahh, very peaceful!! Thanks for sharing, guys!!
