editing posts

Hey site managers/moderators... can we get the ability to edit our posts back? I tried to edit a few things on a post and couldnt.. was told only moderators could do so.

Sometimes I"m a tad longwinded (hahahah) and I stop making grammatical sense.. or think of a shorter way to say things AFTER and want to change my post... or sometimes I use the wrong word in ignorance/error and get all worried that I might accidentally offend someone knowing as this topic is pretty highly charged...

So on that note...

Can we get the ability to edit our posts back????

When I go to the "edit post" this is the message I see:

Only forum leaders or the person that posted this message may edit this message (and only registered users may edit/delete posts)

Note: Only forum leaders may delete posts.

So I don't know why or when you lost the ability to edit your post. I'll check it out.

Ok maybe it was my web setup.. the box to edit text in was missing..

i'm getting a new computer anyhow.. this one is so messed up!
