Hello,
I wish that I could post in the Survivor section. I am the wife of a survivor. I was wondering if anyone had experience with abuse within the Eagle Hill Boarding School in Greenwich, CT. If it happened to my husband, it probably happened to others.
My husband went there in the 1970s and his family, myself, and him included believe he was abused there. He has memory "black outs" and is currently doing EMDR to try to get a sense of what happened.
It's a prestigious school with a vulnerable population and my husband's family remember a marked difference in his self-esteem, attitude, and personality (all negative) after attending but were unable to provide an alternative education for him.
This forum has been so helpful and supportive in the past, I thought it would be worth reaching out.
