I was so shocked to read this. I do not know if any one has picked up on this story but this is so disturbing to me.

Read the link, its all about paedophiles who is starting a political party in order for them to have change the "legal" age to having sex to 12 years old. This is so SICK.

Jaco, check out the ages of consent in some other countries. Spain and South Korea anything goes from 13.

Check this out!! Some of it is outrageous.

Dont worry to much, it will get stamped on, as well as bringing attention to those who support paedophilia.

The Dutch will tolerate only so much, once the line is crossed they can be very VERY harsh.

However, saying that, I wonder how it was allowed to happen in the first place.

I think what we are seeing here is an indication of how liberal the Dutch are where free speech is concerned. But they are also very sensible and I doubt that this party will get anywhere. But it WILL draw pedophiles out of the woodwork to be identified, and that will be a good thing.

I never could figure out why the age of consent is so low in Spain. Catholic country where traditional values are still very strong, etc.

The article mentions that in Japan for instance, the federal age of consent is 13, but provincial laws (which take precendence) typically place that age much higher, like around 16. I figure it could be the same in Spain.

 

Then why (this is a musing, not a direct question)are the video stores here jam packed with video's that sexualize school girls and soft porn magazines featuring 15 and 9 year old girls. These girls are termed "kyonyu" or literally translated "buxom idols" you can read about this HERE.

And finally, look at the stats for male survivors (or female for that matter)of csa in Japan.
