Dream Explained

I have been having some really weird and scary dreams lately. Every night.

I had a horrible nightmare last night that I have remembered all day. I will not go into the details as they are rather graphic, but suffice it to say, there was sexualization in the dream as well as a fear I was going to be killed unless I went out of my way to please this madman.

Given my background with my stepfather, it made sense today. I had never fully realized that when he killed my dog (see survivor story), I knew in my heart he meant it when he said he would do the same to me. And all these years that I had been trying to please him so I could stay alive.

Something to discuss in T this week. Maybe this realization will stop the dreams?

I guess I have two things to say:

First, morphine gives some really strange dreams.

Second, there may be something there to work out.

So, was this a dream of something going on in your mind or one of those morphine dreams. That's something you'll need to figure out first.

You raise a good point. However, this was just a continuation of the dreams I had before I went to the hospital. Maybe the morphine made it more vivid?

Anyway, again doctors don't tell you of possible side effects ! I have to depend on others to find this out!
