I only watched this one time, it started a "season of recall" for me. That sounds ominous, but in fact it was good for me because I had to do some srious therapy and that moved me a long in recovery. But this can be a really difficult film to watch. I was not abused by clergy, a BSA asst scoutmaster did me harm. But the film really stirred up a lot of stuff.

It's one I haven't seen for a while, but it's certainly a powerful film.
And it tells the true story without being salacious.

A good film, but it's a full box of Kleenex one. Maybe a protective screen around the TV as well ?
It made me me so emotional and raging.

Hi,

On films dealing with abuse. There is a terrific german (or Swedish?) film titled 'Festen' about family sexual abuse of boys and girls. Very powerful with excellent actors and directing. Unfortunately I cant remember the director but do know that s/he is a member of the 'Dogma Manifesto' group who are filmekers who use natural lighting, hand held cameras and refuse to use mood music. Subtitled as in english.

Make sure to take a good friend when you watch this video.

cheers
