Thanks for the support. It means a lot to me.

That feeling comes and goes, some days more intense than others but its like the oldest feeling I have. I have rewritten that poem over the past couple of days. The message hasn't become more hopeful. Yesterday was a really really down day for me. Today is better for a number of reasons among which the support from guys on this list is most powerful.

We do live in a rather heartless world. But, scattered all over the place are some really loving people. It is worth the search to find them.

I have encountered some of those people but don't seem to be able to establish very deep relationships with them and that includes my partner whom I've been with for over 18 years.

There are trust issues and then there is the planet-sized trust monster who sometimes seems to be hitching a ride on my shoulder.
