What is amazing to me is how the boys in our lives (my sons) (your grandsons) can be the catalyst for the boy inside us to begin to heal or learn to heal, this past Saturday I spent in a gymnasium at my sons wrestling match boys of all ages wrestling being coached by caring men and in some cases comforted by dads and coaches when one lost, it was a great afternoon and one I wished I could have had at 13.

You're right. And I'm fiercely protective of them due to my heightened awareness of what could happen because of my own experiences.

I was the same with my children and now my grandchildren.
