Cyrano de Bergerac

I've always loved this play, but last night I saw the film adaptation with Jose Ferrer (1950) for the first time. I think it is a wonderful survivor movie. For those of you not familiar with the play it is the story of a man who overcomes great adversity and still holds true to his principles.
