I didn't know Jake and I wish I had.

I wrote a little poem about the feelings I am having, not just in that regard, but in general.

I didn't know Jake either. I was just new here when he left I think. But it affects me enormously to see the reaction to his passing here. It shows that no matter how badly we are hurt it is still possible to rise above it and claim our lives back.
