Chiropractic Visit......unexpected

I went to the chiropractic doctor tonite for the first time ever. They x-rayed my back and all. Nothing he did was wrong. So I don't mean that. I had an ajustment - laying down on a table face down. When he touched my back I could hardly keep the tears in. I felt so many things at once I can't even write it. When I got out to the car I cried. When I thought about it this is the first time another man has even come close to actually touching me in over two years. It just made things come up in my mind. I was NOT expecting this tonite.

Hi Tobey,

Sorry that you got caught inm an unexpected situation. Are you okay with his touch now? There certainly is a huge difference between a ytouch that heals and a touch that terrifies.

If you choose to go back to the doc, perhaps you could try to focus on feeling him moving your spine or neck, and hopefully the relief that gives you. I am not usre that will work, but you might try it, especially if you feel better after the adjustment.

Tobey it is a natural thing for you to experience and it is no wonder it bothered you.

I had that problem too and then when I was touched by other men like by a doctor chiropractor
Massage Therapist I realized that the touch of some is beneficial. My problem was trusting them. I determined to give it because I was aware that I was in control and was not a young teenager any more.
