Change the way you think about God
What if you change the way you view God instead of expecting life to flow through your own understanding ? In order to allow God's plan for your life to be fully embraced you have to relinquish trying to understand " the why" of everything
of what God does and exchange it for faith . Exchanging the why question for faith is the way to give God the glory he so deserves and at the same time alleviating so much stress, anxiety and worry in your life. We are a people of understanding and when things happen that we do not understand , it is a must that we fix our eyes as well as our faith on Christ Jesus which in turn produces hope and hope perseverance. If we would have it our way we would always settle for the easy road in life and at the same time never being able to truly grow. If our hope and faith align to be fixated on Christ than why not come into the knowledge of the truth. Let me explain , walk with me slowly as this scripture is unpacked.
Isaiah 55:8-9 (ASV)
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith Jehovah.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Can you imagine the brilliance and strategic Majesty it took to create all that you see and all that you are with such precision and accuracy ? Allow this scripture to sink in . God is plainly telling us that we should throw everything out the window and exchange it for faith by telling us the way he thinks is not the way we think and the way he does things is not the way we would do thing's. This can partly be attributed to his perfect and holy nature . He has a divine justice about himself that we as finite beings will never be able to grasp. We only are allowed glimpses of God's nature because it is to incredible to behold only in microscopic levels without it undoing everything.
God knew what he was doing before he even began to speak things into existence therefore he understands the why in everything. The heavens are higher than the earth so to are his ways and knowing this we should take comfort not despair throughout your own life struggles. These are all meant to produce a fruit in your life as well as for the benefit for others. Fruit that would not of been able to be produced had the struggle not put you in the position that opened you up to the question we always think we are entitled to , which is to "understand" the "the why " God does what he does ?
The fact of the matter is we do not need to understand if we exchange the understanding for faith. Faith would grow exponentially , it would grow leaps and bounds and a key element would also grow and that element is trust. You would learn to trust God which opens your eyes to all that he has done and continues to do for you in your life . When you reach your lows you see no end in sight and only see the struggle and are fixed on the pain. Oblivious to the character it is producing in your life and the people that you come into contact with at these times. God uses people to do his will through the process ,he opens doors you where never able to see being opened in your current situation or circumstance. God uses so many things to accomplish his good and perfect will.
The pain involved produces all sorts of good fruit if we would take a step back and look at it instead of looking at everything through our own ways our own understanding when the word also plainly tells us In ALL our ways acknowledge HIM and He Will direct your path. We have to lean not on are own understanding because we do not have far sight and insight and we do not have the abilities to pear off into the distance as God can to be able to grasp what he is doing at the time. Even when people die we get so caught up in our own selfishness to an extent . When my mom died from cancer would it not be fitting for me to exercise my faith and know that surely she is far better off living in the very presence of God vs me wanting to keep her here suffering just so for whatever reason I could come up with to justify keeping her here longer ? If I truly believe God is who he says he is than this should trigger faith into action and and alleviate so much of the burden. I am not saying do not grieve but allow the grieving to lead to trust hope and faith in knowing that God is in control and at the end of the day has a plan that I just will never fully understand. Come to grips that God is in control and he knows what he is doing. If you doubt take a look around and look intently at the brilliance it took to create and sustain this magnificent world around you. Look deeply and intently at yourself and bask in the image of God you where created after. If you do this you will be afforded a microscopic glimpse of God that is just big enough to sustain you through and quite frankly should indirectly answer the question "why" he does things the way he does them.
