CBC Article: Woman who spent years scrubbing explicit video from internet urges tech firms to make it easier to remove
Saddening thing is i’m in images and videos that were circulated by my step dad. Makes me numb to think how many looked, shared and did perverse things to them
You are right Little Blue it is horrible. It’s horrible the not knowing what is around still and where.
I know for a fact that any type of porn stays around forever even "vintage" stuff. I was used in porn for years in the late '50s and '60s and I know there is still a lot of my stuff on the internet - I've seen it. When I first fell apart in 2011 I went looking for my stuff and found a lot of photos but I never found any of the movies made with me. I was warned off that search when I finally got into therapy by my T. I didn't realize how illegal it was, I guess I was still too naive. Since photos of me were used in those boy magazines in the '60s it was legal to sell those magazines on corner newsstands in NYC. I've seen plenty of my stuff being sold back then. I've found photos of me on the net in my short stint trying to find my stuff in 2011.It’s horrible the not knowing what is around still and where.
I was down at a nudists beach when I was 14 and with a friend who was 13. we were approached by a man willing to pay us to take pictures of us naked and doing stuff. We said not today and left. Yet, because of my prior abuse, I was so tempted, and tortured at the same time.I know for a fact that any type of porn stays around forever even "vintage" stuff. From what I found out these days is that there is a lot of "vintage" child porn out there and I'm sure the hundreds of movies I was in are also out there someplace. I have learned that there are people or sites on the internet that will sell child porn if there is money in it. I really don't want to see those movies I was in since they were bondage and torture shit but I'm sure it's out there. It seems that violence sells big. There were always 8mm home movies made when I was taken to johns. All you had to know is where your local photo lab was and you could get anything developed for a price. I also know that organized crime was behind all that since they ran NYC and the skin business (at least the village where I lived with other kids in an apartment) in the '50s, '60s, and '70s, maybe longer.
There is a book called "The Mafia and the Gays" https://smile.amazon.com/Mafia-Gays...=The+mafia+and+the+gays&qid=1633192816&sr=8-1 that describes organized crime in the city back then and their involvement in all types of porn. While I didn't really know much about them as a kid (except from a TV show or two) back then I see that so much of what I was involved in was run only with permission from them.
So I'm sure both vintage and current child porn is out there because the money is out there. Having MasterCard cancel their cards being used on the site and Visa temporarily suspending their cards being used on the Pornhub site is promising. It's also a big step because I'm sure they lose a lot of money not letting their cards being used on that site. Porn and child porn is big business. Now if they'll only do that on the deep web where most of the bad stuff is.
While I have found many of my photos on the net I never had a chance to go search the deep web. My T put an abrupt stop to that. But I'm sure that anyone who has had photos or movies made of them that shit is out there on the web someplace. A rule of thumb that I see is that if it can be sold it's out there.
Thank you JayBro for these two threads. Child porn on the web is very important and it needs to be stamped out or at least made known that it exists. It's the only way that companies can be forced to stop supporting the enormous child porn business. I was hoping that this forum would have had more traction when I helped start it because anyone that has had an indecent photo or home movie taken of them that shit is probably somewhere out there on the web someplace. Magazines like the shit from NAMBLA are still out there. There are Magazines still sold on the web from Europe out there. There are kids still being exploited here in the US and in other western countries. There is a ton more stuff coming from the "poor" countries of the world.
I saw a video documentary about streaming video from an Indonesian country where a mother was interviewed about her daughter or son being live-streamed on the internet. Her answer was that kids are used to being naked in her area. Really sad.
