My son D just told me that Wally Szczerbiak is being traded to Boston! Man, he's my pseudo-boyfriend! Boo hoo hoo.

Oh well, life goes on, but he really did light my life up! He used to come to my place of employment and I would get to greet him and just forget everything for a few minutes, looking into those big, gorgeous brown eyes, dreaming that he wasn't married and that he and I could be together! Too funny!

Darn it, he was on fire this year too. Oh well.

I most certainly do not mean to make light of anybody's situation or sadness. I just wanted y'all to feel better by knowing how stupid my imagination is!

LOL Sorry Susan. I had my heart broken during the baseball off-season a few times myself.

I used to work at a bar close to a hotel, and a young man came in with two middle-aged business looking guys. The young guy ordered a drink and I carded him-- he sort of smirked when he handed me his ID. I checked it, handed it back, and said OK... he looked kind of crushed. When I came back with the drink one of the middle aged guys started yelling at me, "Didn't you look at that ID? Look at it again, don't you know who he is?" Turns out he was some NFL star. I don't even remember what team he played for now...

You cruel woman you!!!!! :) What's the point of being an NFL star if women everywhere aren't falling over around you as you pass by? What's his crazymaker going to do with THAT one?

And on top of all that - the ultimate blow: you don't even remember what team he was a star for?

Someone help me to the couch...
