British Paedophile jailed for life - STRONG TRIGGER.
Hello again everyone -
At last one of these evil b******s has got what he deserves - the downside is that there are more victims.
Thomas Titley (his name is all over the media in the UK, so presume it's OK to type here)aged 46 years has just been jailed for life for abusing 7 and 8 year old boys.. The reason that they could give him life, was that for several hours he had held each of the boys in a pit under his house floor (where he abused them). This was classed as false imprisonment thus allowing the life sentence. Had the abuse not included imprisonment in the pit, the sentence would probably have been a maximum of 10 years.
The abuse was only discovered because one of the boy's Mothers was decorating her house, and rolled the carpet up to avoid damage....her Son went hysterical when she did this because He thought it meant they had a pit in their own home.
The boys had been lured with the promise of beer & cigarettes (to make them feel like little men I bet)- they were then told if they said anything about what had happened, he would inform their mother's that they smoked.
Thomas Titley had been jailed previously for abusing boys & received a sentence of 4.5 years (could have been maximum of 10) of which he served 3.
He had asked to be locked up for good on the first occassion, however the law does not allow this (crazy).
Norman Brennan, spokesman for the Victims of Crime Trust said: 'There is no known medical cure for paedophiles. It beggars belief why they are released in the first place.'
I only hope life means life & not a maximum of 25 years which is often the case in the UK (usually with remission).
Looking forward to the day there are no new victims...Rik
