I have recently completed a book about my life, from vicitm to survivor, from childhood "the abuse" to adulthood "addictions, acting out, codependency, low self esteem, divorce, infidelity, professional counseling, self help, you name it its all there." I think it will help the SA victim/survivor as well as answer any questions a love one might have regarding the victim stage. The reader, especially the significant other can gain detailed insight into the abuse and its devastation, "Why we do what we do."

I visited your web page. It looks great. I want to thank you for sharing your heart and soul with male survivior. I have been dealing with my own SA fo a long time now but it is only now that I have developed the ability to cry. I am learning to talk to others and comfort myself. Reading about your book however makes me realize that this is an important part of my recovery.

I guess learning to care for our own emotional needs is really important. Thanks!

Jaay, if I help one person it is important to me. Thanks for sharing and as I said helping you makes my day.

I sent it to my brother, he had not talked to me for some time after my wifes affair, the book has us talking again, he understands what happened to me now and it has made a difference. I was happy that day and again I find happiness in your reply.

One common thread that seems to move through our life experiences is that even safe and loving relatives may well not understand much about how abuse has affected us, until WE tell them and HELP them to understand. I hope your book will contribute to this crucial effort.

My brother read it with his wife, it opened doors that had been shut for about six years. They realized that the abuse had a lot to do with my actions throughout my life. It truly helped them to understand me.

Larry, I don't know what you do but your knowledge on SA is incredible.
