Body Modifications and The Medicine Wheel

I was tempted to put this topic in the off topic forum. Perhaps this topic is too kinky or too far out there to be relevant. (search function didn't boost my self esteem any.) Here I stand up and interject and acknowledge above all that. This is also about owning my own individual sexuality. Not only is this a male survivor issue, it's damn important to acknowledge this.
Lets back up. Several years ago, I followed some very good advice from a former past president of MaleSurvivor that mentioned something about massage. I took that information and applied it to another reading that dealt with a Native-American concept called "The Medicine Wheel". (Emotional / Spiritual / Mental / Physical ). It was here that I embraced the "Physical" door not really realizing that all pieces were involved.
I have read a ton a books, each with there nuggets of wisdom. the next question, Is., How do I apply this to my daily life? I have had great success at being unorthodox in my amateur wrestling career. Is this any different? I find that by focusing on the journey that we miraculously arrive at our destination. Although many times I have felt like I was blindly stumbling and bumbling, I was healing in my evolution.
I wrote about the mind blowing out of body deep tissue massages. (and that is another post).
It seems that I am still fragile in the mind. Anxiety is a MotherF!@#$%. Interestingly enough it seems like I can take a ton of pain physically. Somehow, It even helps my to feel stronger emotionally. Clearer.
More than that, my piercings are a sign that this is my body. (and yes I had a highly sexualized childhood and I am kind of a kinky dude). but that being said, lets not allow that to distract me from the original statement.
Like a flag on the moon, my piercings serve as a sign and my claim:
"This Is My Body".
