Blame

Blame
Trev,

I quit blaming myself about 5 minutes ago. Yes, this is a sarcastic statment. But, there is some truth there too. I'll probably have to quit blaming myself again in another 5 minutes.

What I'm trying to say is that self blame is a constant battle that needs to be continually fought. It's part of this road called recovery. And like Larry says,
It's all a matter of time, so hang in there.
I am finding that the road called recovery leads to a good place, so hang in there, you'll make it. There are a lot of us here traveling the same road and we are here to lend you a hand in anyway we can.

Love ya

Darrel

Hey Trev,

I like what Darrel and Larry said in response to your last post here. I think they know what they're talking about. I've experienced that too. The mind knows but the heart doesn't. It'll catch up if you're willing to be honest with yourself. I think you are because you wouldn't be here asking all these questions and sharing this stuff that hurts if you didn't want to get this stuff figured out.

Just keep at it, Bro.

Lots of love,

John

most days i wanna figure it out
today i could care less

Trev,

That's okay bro. Some days will always be better/worse than others, and I really don't know why that is. All I know for sure is that when that little voice inside me is telling me "back off today", that's what I need to do.

Much love,
Larry
