Hello everyone! I realize none of you has heard from me for quite awhile. I was involved in a serious mountain biking accident awhile ago and was in hospital for a few weeks with assorted fractures, brain concussion etc. Not too much fun! I guess as you get a little older it sure takes along tilme to heal.Still on pain meds but im at home which really matters the most to me! My family has sure hung in there for me,thank God my wife has gone that extra mile as usual. My therapy has had to take a second fiddle till I heal mentally and of course physically. These pain medications really screwup your mimd, although the doses are not as big as they were. This has been a big pyscological issue for me and a few times in the hospital I had some of the scariest dreams, moslty due to the morphine they told me/not really related to abuse issues but real "weird" stuff. All my docs are working with me to work thru all this new posttrauma stuff so I will jump over this roadblock first. Just wanted you brothers to know I'm alive and kickin, and will reportin soon.

Talk to you all soon.

Your brother Kieran

Glad you're ok, man. Good to hear from you again. Keep getting better brother. Take it easy, take your time, take care of yourself.

Kieran, Welcome back, sure a heck of a way to take a vacation. Take care of yourself

Kieran
welcome home, I hope the injuries aren't that bad and you're back on the bike soon.

I love to watch mountain biking, my nephew was the Uk Junior Champion a few years back, he does Triathalons now, and I've been all over the place supporting him and fixing his bike.
I've spent many happy hours with him in hospital casualty departments as well

Tree's and rock's are too damned hard for me, my bike is for gentle use only.

As everyone is mentioning it is great to hear from you.

Sounds like you have had a really painful experience.

I am amzed that you have the energy to ride a bike. I would put it on national TV if I could get up on the thing.

Kieran:

It hurts doesnt it. I mountainbike too. Broke 4 ribs and separated a shoulder last year. Not as bad as you but it hurt like hell especially when they forced the shoulder back in place.

You gotta remember like me that we are not 18 anymore.

I am glad you are getting better.

Where did it happen? What were you doing or trying to do? Was it a race?

Course I dont have mountains here just the Niagara Escarpment.

Brother wolf get well soon so that you can join us in the pack again

AAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWHHHHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOO
