I am relatively new to this place. But I'm certainly not ashamed of your participation. From what I've read, I find your input helpful and often insightful. Treat yourself with some generosity of spirit...you deserve it. Thanks for your input.

Tinfoil,
I know what you are saying....Also...this place can be a great harm to your mind from having the SA thrown right in you face each time you come here!!! Every Pdoc that knows of it ...that I have talked to..says that is not the thing that SA males should be looking at...they say that is like porno? Whatever...you do seem to get hooked on it and burn up a lot of time on it...where as, you could be outside working on large forms of cement art work!!!

Hi tinfoil,
Im sorry to hear that u may be leaving. I've enjoyed reading your post, you seem very insightful. But I gues you have to do whats best for you. Good luck and I do hope to keep reading your post.

If you need to take a break from this place for a little while, it's ok. Lord knows reading all this stuff can make your heart sick, if you're just not in the the mood.

I want to thank you for your participation, though. If you change your mind, and return, I look forward to hearing your perspective again.

Take it easy, man.

We're in this together.

Jeremy
It's kinda nice to know there are locals around.

do what you need to to stay healthy

the abuse did enough damage, no need to add to it

take care of yourself

It wont be the same without you.

I came back, tail dragging. Becomes difficult sometimes dealing w/ the different realities.
If you're a sworn peace officer or military vet you see things one way. Civilians have the luxury of appraising their environment
naively. You know. There's a God in heaven, prayers are answered and most folks are decent if you look hard enough. Some of us know differently. If adult/child sex were legal in all it's ramifications the taxable proceeds from it would support entire nations. There is the truth which none will speak aloud.

Tinfoil,
You seem like a good person...But you don't think so!!! You place more value on that house and all that crap that you own...then yourself! You don't sound too happy there...why live like a rat until you die...dented cans??? Sell all of that shit and buy a new heart or live good and have some fun..hording everything so you can give it away when you die??? You are what is valuable not hording all that crap...get a RV and hit the road...set on the rim of the Grand Canyon...take the money and send it on yourself...you are worth it!!!!!!

Thanks eddie but it's the historical value keeping me from selling the stuff. Brings to mind a time a few years ago. I had just spent a month exploring the northern deserts of Baja,Mexico for indian artifacts. Finnally found a handfull. Showed them to someone and he said "What are they worth?". Well I almost died to get them. They were several thousand years old and representative of an ancient vanished civilization. What am I gonna say,$29.95? Lives once led now dust mean more to me than my own life. Thanks for worrying but I'm okay. I'm coming out of it now. It's been so long. Not gonna give up "touching without feeling" though. Not ever. It helps me,among other things,to find ancient buried artifacts across vast landscapes. I can look then drive my ATC thru the desert, stop, turn off the engine, step off and there are the artifacts laying at my feet. I have eight cats. I'm happy.
