Articles for the website
Hi all:
I'm going to dump some of the less popular and unnecessary articles on the MaleSurvivor site. I've asked Board of Directors to review them and have gotten opinions about what is valuable and worth keeping, and which articles are not helpful or woefully out of date.

Since you are the many of the readers of these articles, your input is valuable. I'd like to get a list together of those which are good and helpful and those that need to be trashed.

Please post your picks and pans here. We will continue to solicit new articles from survivors and professionals, so if you have an idea to write something, please do so.

If you have a suggestion for an article, let me know as well and we will look for someone who can write it. For example, if you think we need something written for survivors about how the brain is affected by trauma, we can approach someone who has that background to write something for the website.

No deadline, but I'd like to begin as soon as possible and improve the content here.

Thanks,
Ken

Hi Ken

I can only find one article on the site that speaks at all about the challenges of having and raising children as a survivor... getting through "triggering" ages, the peace but also the pain of giving what you've never received. There are a lot of men here redefining fatherhood, working hard to break the cycle. I think it would be helpful to have more on the site about this.

Thanks

I think there was an article on here about "intimacy disorders" as the "real" effects of childhood SA. If that article is on here I'd like to see it stay. If not then Lloydy found it somewhere and forwarded it/posted it. If its not on here I'd like to see it added!!

Thanks for asking. I'd like to see (1) some guidelines for friends & family & (2) a more succinct discussion of the bio-chemical symptoms that haunt survivors + a list of the available therapies.
