Went back to the doctor today. He put me on depressions meds...Effexor RX 75 mg for two weeks and then up to 150mg after that. I've had a headache for two months now straight. Going to have a head scan done but they have already said I show no signs of anything else going on so its just to make sure. The last time I was on meds was ten years ago...now I am right back there again. But if it will get rid of these dam headaches then it will be worth it I guess.

Not expecting any posts just needed to put it out there...

Tobey, i wish you the best. i think this stuff has a bad habit of returning if you let your gaurd down. that is why i am trying to stay more active here. it kind of helps keep my head on straight, you know. goodluck with your headaches. i hope the meds help.
 
Thanks Phoster. I think your right about that....I had in a way let my guard down...I have been planning on being more active here too. Good advice....

I had a headache for 12 years after I started to deal with this. I was taking excederin everyday. I finally found out that it was the withdrawing from the excederin that was causing the headaches. I initially had daily headaches from the abuse memories and got hooked on excederin. Best of luck to you.

My psyche doc, knows less about psychology than my dog, but he put me on 40mg of Celexa.
It cured most of the panic attacks, but I have tinnitus, like a continuous jet engine running.

Thank God for music, but drugs numb out all feelings I suppose, it does to me, but good luck anyhow,
