Another realization

As I continue my reading about the subject of being a survivor, I am learning and living more each day.

I once asked when do you become a survivor? The answer, of course, is that we always were if we are here today. We were victims when it happened, and survivors a minute later because we continued to live, despite the pain.

It brings me to the topic of strength. People here have told me I show strength many times. Didn't believe it. Say something good about me and I'll dig hard and fast to find a reason to show you're wrong.

But today I was reading about what real strength is. And I have it. And you have it. Because we survived all that Hell could throw at us and we are taking our lives back. Like palm trees in a hurricane, we may bend, but we do not break.

Glad you showed me that.

Peace,

Marc

When we get pushed down, we have two choices: Either lay there and cringe in fear or stand back up and join life. I'm standing, I may get pushed down again, but I will be standing a moment later.

Thanks,
Bill

Marc,

Your realizations continue to show us what a bright and strong man you are. I hope you can keep up the positive spirit. It lightens the load we carry.

Marc,
I am glad you realized that you are strong. We all are strong, no matter how many times we have felt insignificant and worthless.
I always try to remember I have a pool of strength, which comes in handy at work.
I have seen tremendous growth in you sinse you first came here, and I am SO proud of you, my brother!
