Hey guys... back on an upswing, and wanted to make an observation about this place.

It amazes me that every day, a bunch of strangers come in here and share some of their most painful experiences with each other. There is no shame or judgment. There is only the common goal of helping each other get through this hell that we never asked for. The relief felt when you read that someone else has been where you are is beyond words. Thank you all for being the open and honest men that you are. Thank you for being there for me over the past few months. I could never have made it through without all of you.

Here's to more upswings, for all of us here. :)

I think that's been the key for me; I read and read for a few weeks before I even registered. The commonality of experiences is one thing, but we all have had enough judgement and shame unfairly cast upon us over the years, and I think that sense of self - what you went through and what you now know you would never wish another to suffer through - I think that's what makes this place such a gift.

It is just so much easier to honestly express yourself when it falls upon ears that understand your past and would not judge you for they know the true impact of such an unfair personal imposition.

It gives my heart joy to hear that you are doing well again. (How's that for "sappy?")

it truly is amazing that we can all help and receive help as needed. thanks to all here at ms. it feels good to lift the spirits of each other, as we've all been in need at some point.

It is a wonderful thing, this site and what it all does for us. I know that were it something in 'real life', it would not at all be so easy for me to come here and be so open of things. There have been some opportunities to meet some men from here, and I have not even been able to do that. I think it is wonderful, that we can become friends and share as this without even meeting.
