alleged abuse: Calvin Murphy

hello men:

i just read that NBA hall of famer Calvin Murphy has been accused of sexually assaulting his five dauthters a number of years ago. why i am posting this i do not know. abuse is a terrible thing as we all know.

i hope that the truth comes out in this case and any guilty person(s) are held accountable.

I don't know either, but I think its a common thing, I know I was very interested when Radio DJ Mark Parentau was accused of molesting young black boys. Maybe it has something to do with
the perp getting caught and facing justice.

Not to mention the Michael Jackson case, for some reason, I can't comprehend, part of me doesn't want either of them to get convicted. It baffles me as to why because as I know first hand, it is wrong and it really hurts the child emotionally.

I think at some level, each of us want to believe that what happened to us hasn't happened to anyone else. It is just to terrible to believe how wide spread abuse is. What kind of world is this were sexual abuse isn't a rare thing?

I understand not wanting to believe it's true, but I know it is.
