For those of you who know little Al I want to bring you up to date

Marc sent me an email Sunday and for the first time it contained good news.

Al opened his eyes for a bit and acknowledged people and questions with gestures

As well his blood pressure was up a bit.

Now that is a lot of good news for our young brother wolf and I wanted to pass it along to all

I continue to pray for Al and for Marc.
 
That's great!

I hope so much that Al gets better soon and comes back to us. I miss him in the chat room.

Thanx Mike and Marc for the updates. I am ecstatic that our litle brother wolf is doing much better. WOW, breathing on his own! That is wonderful news. Keep getting better, Al. I miss you and look forward to chatting with you soon. I continue to send you and Marc my thoughts and prayers.

This is great news. I am grateful. I hope his recovery moves along quickly so he can join us soon.

This note is to clear up some confusion around Alans hospitalization. Marc has kindly sent am email from which I will post exerpts so that everyone has the same information:

thank you for your concern mike, and it was well founded. alan knew what was happening in his stomach, he knew that if left untreated, it would kill him. he said his goodbyes then hid in a motel room and waited for the end. while he didn't force the end by his own hand, he did welcome it by his lack of action, and that is what scares me so much. his psychiatrist insists this situation be treated as a suicide - one that was completed, even if only in alan's mind. he says we will work with whatever is left with a view to starting of a new life, a second chance at a new beginning. although i don't agree with the doc 100%, i do agree with the necessity of having alan look towards the future and try to set his feet into forward motion.

if it helps solve any confusion, post whatever of this message you think helps the fellas at ms. i apologize for not being clearer sooner, but for the last 10 days the hands of time have remained so still i forgot the rest of the world was alive and in motion.

Now I know we can all appreciate what Marc has been going through as well as what Alan was dealing with and I have told Marc that everyone here is on their side and that they never have to feel alone anymore

A futher update from Alans Marc

He is now being fed by tube and is taking it ok.
He has responded to Marc as a sexy guy

He has allowed his biological father to rub his back to help ease the soreness. Nobody but Marc could touch him before.

He has always kept himself fully covered and this has relaxed in Hospital

Marc is totally pleased and authorized this post

I think that Al deserves a great big howl from us and that Marc deserves one as well for how he has bravely faced the past two weeks with strength and courage.

More good news.

I had an email relayed to me from Alan

He misses us all and is sorry if he upset anyone. I told him that the only thing was he scared the bejusus out of us.

He still has his sense of humour. Told me that He needed another operation ( guess this was from Monday) and that they should just put a zipper in. ;)

He is anzious to get back and I told him we all want him back but not until he was health again and putting on some weight
