A UK survivors site needs hits

Hi Guys

I have been surfing the net looking for different resources for web survivors here in the UK. There are a lot. I have been contacting them to let them know that I have a full up to date directory of services for survivors here in the UK. I let them know what my blog address was and if they know of anyone that needs to look and contact me to feel free to do so. No names are asked for only the survivors nearest big town or county and I will post back all relevant addresses, 24 hour help-lines (if available) and contact numbers.

One particular site I came across was Phoenix Survivors run by a woman named Shy Keenan an inspirational woman in my eyes. Shy suffered continuous sexual abuse in the family from a very early age. In her adult life she decided to confront her abuser armed with secret camera and sound recorder. The confrontation that resulted was captured on film and broadcast on the BBC on its flagship current affairs program Panorama it made for powerful viewing as both my wife and I watched it. It took all of this evidence gathering to convince the powers that be (social workers, etc) that she was indeed abused by her step father Stanley who is now firmly locked up in one of our high security prisons. Im pretty sure Lloydy can back me up on the above.

The site she runs needs support, she has helped me no end I have decided to promote the site as best I can. I will have a permanent link to Phoenix on my blog site whish is now renamed Intrusive Memories subtitled the toilet bowl of life

Memories can be found here at https://www.20six.co.uk/DanDare

Phoenix survivors can be found here https://www.phoenixsurvivors.com/

Please help support a fellow survivor as she strides to see a safer society for our children and grandchildren. She also has some very high powered contacts, which can be read about on the site.

Thanks all

Archnut

Shy Keenan has probably done more for the UK Survivors movement than many others put together, and her organization works tirelessly at all levels for our benefit.

The TV documentary was groundbreaking, and brought the horrors of abuse into the homes of those who just didn't know what was happening.

Please give her your support.
