a sigh of relief

Ah, my chest feels lighter tonight. It feels good.
I finished my first draft of a letter to my perp #1. He'll never read it, but it feels good to have gotten it out and in print. Heck, I don't even know if he is still alive. All I know is I can't find him and he has never been arrested in Michigan for a felony. There are still a lot of holes in the letter, there's a lot of holes in my memory of that time. Some have filled themselves in during the writing. I was trying to remember, the mind still blank and the page began to fill.
Ah, the load on my chest is lighter tonight. Now I can enjoy the sounds of crickets out in the distance.
