I have heard of the mental health day -
people take now and then -

but it seems like - it should be a regular thing -

I jokingly made a slogan in my mind for a Canadian psychological association - if their is such a thing -

it's:

"oh just ignore your mental health...it'll go away"

so I am trying to make it a conscious routine - how to keep me healthy - and not so 'blown out'

- I go to the gym - 4 days a week -

I do all my chores - and keep things running -

but I gotta take care of my self too -

and for me - that would be stopping and

just doing healthy non pushing stuff for my mind!

for maybe once a week - ?

does anyone do this?

a good start? or maybe just remembering :)

- Let's Go Fly A Kite Lyrics

Mr. Banks:
With tuppence for paper and strings
You can have your own set of wings
With your feet on the ground
You're a bird in a flight
With your fist holding tight
To the string of your kite

Oh, oh, oh!
Let's go fly a kite
Up to the highest height!
Let's go fly a kite and send it soaring
Up through the atmosphere
Up where the air is clear
Oh, let's go fly a kite!

Bert:
When you send it flyin' up there
All at once you're lighter than air
You can dance on the breeze
Over 'ouses and trees
With your first 'olding tight
To the string of your kite

Londoners:
Oh, oh, oh!
Let's go fly a kite
Up to the highest height!
Let's go fly a kite and send it soaring
Up through the atmosphere
Up where the air is clear
Let's go fly a kite!

Absolutely I do, Mark. Mostly it's music or reading or going to a movie, but it can also be getting together with friends either at home or somewhere out.

Also, in addition to the kite thing, don't forget to "Feed the Birds (Tuppence a Bag)".

:)

hehe =

:)

"Tuppence a bag" is probably my favorite song out of the whole show. :)

i would love to jump into a chalk landscape!

A little late responding, but I just joined Saturday. Love the Poppins references. It takes me back to a simpler time, where I erroneously believed I had a happy childhood. Knowing the truth is painful, but powerful.
